As a BU controller, you actively shape the financial future of our business unit and act as a crucial business partner for our product areas. Here, you take on responsibility where your expertise delivers directly measurable results and sets the course for our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the Value Stream, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, etc) to ensure accurate product costing strategies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to plant management and other stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
  • You prepare and analyze detailed project calculations, conduct thorough "Make or Buy" analyses, and actively contribute to the pricing calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations to BU Management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to optimize plant performance.
  • Within the department, you take on cross-functional topics as part of the continuous improvement of processes as well as challenging special projects.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Several years of professional experience in business unit and product class controlling including the creation of business plans, forecasts, long-term planning, and measures management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project costings, make-or-buy analyses, and quotation calculations; confident presentation of complex content to management boards.

Personality and working style: you operate with a high degree of personal responsibility and bring a proactive work approach; you can easily familiarize yourself with cross-functional topics and tackle new challenges; you communicate complex financial matters clearly and convincingly.
