Job Description
The Robert Bosch Corporation realizes the mutual benefit of developing Engineering students over several work terms. Therefore, we are seeking to hire students who wish to work multiple terms at the Florence manufacturing facility. At the Florence, KY facility, Bosch designs and produces automotive steering components and systems sold to vehicle OEMs throughout North America.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but not limited to the following.

  • Process documentation updates (operator instructions, guides, forms, etc.)
  • Setup facilities machines and equipment in SAP for PM and work order functions
  • Assist FCM team with brainstorming and facilitation of building management system
  • Support Engineers on specific programming projects
  • Communicate and work effectively through specific task assignment
  • Analysis and decision making responsibility for specific problems or topics
  • Improvement proposals and execution of such as supported by analysis

Qualifications

Intern Program Requirements:

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate/PhD program OR within 1 year of graduation date
  • Demonstrate high potential, including suitable academic achievement, extracurricular participation and community service

Education And/or Experience
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from a 4-year university and be actively enrolled for the duration of your co-op. Area of Study should be from one of the following:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Architectural Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Facilities Management
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Or other related program to support the Facilities function

    • Effectively communicate with different levels of associates and cultures
    • Ability to work with workshop personnel
  • Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Meet deadlines on assigned tasks, utilize project timeline tools, effectively communicate goals and results
