Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced logistics professional to play a key role in optimizing and managing our end-to-end supply chain processes. In this position, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient material flow, on-time deliveries, and high service quality. Task and responsibilities
- Communication between internal departments, Suppliers and Logistic Service Providers
- Actively contribute to the achievement of such KPR/KPI Targets.
- Address and track internal and external inquiries to the respective internal departments
- Manage Escalation Process
- Monitor daily warehouse operations
- Assistance on tender projects for warehouse operations
- Cooperate with other departments to achieve customer satisfaction
- Responsible for high customer satisfaction
- Coordinate planning activities related to introduction of new business models and/or new processes as well as layout planning
- Receipt, control and accounting of goods deliveries in the ERP system SAP incl. maintenance of material master data
- Clarification of customer complaints, stock deviations or other process deviations
- Assistance in the improvement of logistic processes and warehouse structure
- Preparation documents for the accounting department
- Supervision over the correct circulation of correspondence
- Support in the development of reports and procedures in the area of administration and logistics
- Preparation of summaries, reports and data analysis
Qualifications
- University degree/ High School Diploma
- At least 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain planning
- Experience in 3PL sector
- Knowledge of warehousing processes
- Experience with SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) will be considered as a plus
- Cost reduction and customer orientation
- Experience with standardized Work and Lean Principles preferred
- Experience in Continuous improvement projects
- Problem solving mindset
- High communication and cooperation skills, to all levels of the organization
- Willingness to work in an international environment
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Knowledge of German language will be considered as a plus
