Job Description

  • Collaboration in global portfolio management for the product categories hammer drilling small and large, including price positioning, product performance, quality, competitive analyses, and life-cycle management.
  • Supporting the global product strategy and sharing responsibility for the commercial success of the PXH product segments.
  • Contribute to product development project for commercial and system topics like: pricing, margin calculation, product documentations, system setup, forecast, marketing and communication
  • Lead small range extensions or packaging updating projects being responsible for the whole involved team, reporting project status and focusing to meet timeline, quality and cost requirements
  • Cooperating with marketing on product launches and developing product communication.
  • Reviewing customer and market needs (UX) and planning and executing market visits.
  • Tracking customer satisfaction to enhance competitiveness and product quality.
  • Monitor market landscape with focus on competitors strength and activities, trends and needs

Qualifications

  • Experience in product management or project management and market research are of advantage
  • Experience in manufacturing company, power tools is an advantage
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in marketing or (business) engineering or comparable qualification
  • Microsoft office package knowledge, with main focus on Excel
  • Mandatory good knowledge of English language, German is a plus
  • Strong analytics skill to monitor sales, margin, customers, demand under different clustering and timelines
  • Understanding of basic pricing strategy in consumer good industry
  • Ability to translate user/customer needs into product requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Proactivity, dynamism and independence in action
  • High solution orientation and creativity
  • Hands-on attitude to power tools and accessories
