Job Description
- Responsible for management for the purchased part quality issues, process quality issues and finished goods customer complaint resolution, which includes packaging, delivery method.
- Setup, drive innovation and monitor the effectiveness of quality management procedures and processes as well as implement improvements where necessary.
- Drive service provider to meet the defined quality KPI and drive sustainable improvement innovation.
- Implement suitable quality inspection on supplied parts and products. Provide training and guide operation personnel on the quality requirement.
- Operative handling of quality cost reimbursement for all scrap or RTV of defective parts, ensure disposition of blocked stock and also concession handling.
- Ensure process comply to FMEA and Control plan.
- Conduct periodic audit to ensure compliance to standards and regulations.
- Work closely with project teams to optimize packaging supply base for cost, lead time, quality, regionalization, standardization, supply assurance, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Conduct buy-off for new line, equipment and system.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance to Dangerous Goods requirements. Dangerous Goods (DG) coordinator for ASA Asia Hub.
- Analyze quality data and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Willingness work at external service provider site (>50%).
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
- Degree in manufacturing, logistic or other relevant field.
- Min. 5 years’ working manufacturing quality field. Experience in supplier quality management would be an added advantage.
- Possess good analytical and communication skills. Accountable, self-driven and independent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive operational efficiencies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
