Job Description
Job Summary:
The Lab Operator is responsible for performing technical and operational tasks including preparing samples, bench setup, conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment also ensuring all procedures are followed according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Test Bench Operation and Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Ensure equipment is clean and in proper working order.
- Document equipment maintenance and calibration records.
Testing and Analysis:
- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests and analyses.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Accurately record and document test results.
- Analyze test results, and report abnormalities.
Data & inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory activities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Order supplies as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years exp in relevant field.
Others :
- Basic understanding on filtration product design & application.
- Basic understanding on various filtration test standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with Project managers and customers.
