Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a Purchasing Quality Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring that Bosch's suppliers meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the entire supplier quality process for designated material groups, from selection and preventive measures to series production support.
  • Coordinating cross-functional problem-solving teams to address quality challenges.
  • Conducting supplier audits and implementing quality improvements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Approving components and overseeing initial sample inspections report (ISIR).
  • Leading escalations and implementing corrective actions using industry-recognized quality methodologies (8D, 5Why, Q-PDCA, CIP).
  • Collaborating with suppliers in material groups such as metal parts, forged parts, including heat treatment, surface treatments, and coatings.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

Education: Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in supplier quality assurance or external procurement.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 compliance and supplier evaluation.

Know-how:

  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies (8D, 5Why, Q-PDCA, CIP).
  • Familiarity with component evaluation and initial sample approvals report (ISIR or PPAP).
  • Trained Quality Auditor certification is appreciated.

Languages: Proficiency in English required or other languages are a plus.

Working Style and Methods: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Personality: A proactive team player with a passion for quality excellence and continuous improvement.
