We create the display units, remote controls, and sensor modules for eBikes of the next product generation.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big

  • You´ll shape the future of the next generation of eBikes by designing and testing HW electronic parts for displays, remote controls and sensors
  • As an HW engineer you will participate in the design of the products starting from the analysis of the requirements, concept creation, feasibility analysis until the introduction into serial production
  • You are a member of the project team with the focus on design topics and alignment with the production process
  • You specify test station for automatic testing in collaboration with the production plant and approve the dedicated test setup
  • You identify and solve issues both during ramp-up and series production
  • You will work in a multidisciplinary and cross-site team, making use and sharing your expertise to the team and alignment of the designs, tests and specifications with other eBike locations

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • You have a completed university degree (Bachelor or Master degree) in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic/Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in programming in C/C++, VB, Python, LabVIEW and/or TestStand, and data format of JSON and/or XML would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge in failure analysis with problem solving skills for pragmatic short-term solution and holistic long-term solution.
  • Experience in different Assembly and Interconnect Technologies (e.g. PCB technologies, soldering processes, …) will be valorized
  • Knowledge in consumer electronics outdoor products or display/ECU/IoT products is preferred
  • You have the willingness to travel, intercultural competence and speak/write fluent English
