Our Bosch Security Solutions, a leading brand in Singapore with extensive range of products portfolio in the domain of video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection, voice alarm, public announcement systems, professional audio, and conferencing system as well as access control and management systems. Through the years, our products are well received by our Singapore based customers has collaborated with us through our design, implementation, and maintenance projects. As part of BOSCH’s business expansion strategy, our Security Solutions Business Unit is seeking for a technical competent System Engineer to join our team in Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:

• Identify any non-conformities in project requirements for security system design proposals.
• Support the design of equipment consoles and 19" racking systems for SMS/CCTV equipment.
• Design the interconnecting cabling requirements for all equipment in the console and racks.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors to confirm detailed equipment listings and configuration requirements.
• Establish integration requirements for 3rd party systems into SMS/CCTV systems.
• Develop the overall system design configuration for implementation.
• Customize the interface control panel and circuit termination drawing designs for SMS/CCTV systems, including schematics.

2. Project Implementation:

• Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely T&C (Testing and Commissioning) schedules, manpower deployment, and site surveys.
• Collaborate with vendors and project staff for the setup of control room equipment.
• Ensure all equipment installations comply with approved design drawings.
• Support project staff during the installation of CCTV field devices.
• Work with consultants to define and implement CCTV configuration requirements.

3. Testing and Commissioning:

• Lead the T&C team to commission field devices in accordance with the provided checklist and schedule.
• Set up and commission fiber, video, and data equipment/systems.
• Configure and commission the CCTV Switcher System to meet consultant-defined requirements.
• Prepare training manuals and conduct system maintenance training for the client’s appointed maintenance staff.
• Prepare training manuals and conduct system operation training for the client’s operational staff.

4. Reporting:

• Report system T&C progress in relation to the milestone schedule to the Section Head.
• Report any technical issues hindering the progress of T&C to the Section Head.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system engineering, particularly in CCTV and security systems design.
• Strong knowledge of SMS/CCTV systems, equipment installation, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to work with vendors and consultants to define and meet system requirements.
• Experience with system configuration, integration, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Fresh graduates in the relevant degree are welcome to apply.

Preferred:

• Certification or training related to CCTV, security systems, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based work with occasional site visits required.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
