BST CN Operations head located at Suzhou, responsible for AP operations strategy execution, management of the local operation teams Manufacturing Product Engineering (MFM) and Manufacturing Technology, as well as Asia Pacific BST Operations functions (LOG, etc.). En

Manage local operations teams (department lead)

• Local management & coordination of operations teams (2 groups of ~35 people)
• part of management team BST-CN

Manage and coordinate the local cross functional team (in CN) and coordinate Asia Pacific Operations functions in TW, PH, MY, etc.

• Coordinate local and global teams (MG, PID, QMM, PUR) to drive operation excellent excellence
• Ensure smooth collaboration for mass production locally
• Coordination of all of BST/MG functions in Asia Pacific (LOG, MFT, MFM) and collaborate with local interfaces (MST-CN, PUR-TW, etc.)

Escalation path of BST Operations towards suppliers in Asia

• Support for supplier related topics (improvements, escalations, NPI challenges)

Enabling of new supply chains (acoustics, optics)

• Analysis of regional supply chains and regional (governmental) limitations or government funding

Represent BST Operations towards customers in Asia

• Local management representative for supplier visits/audits or in case of escalations (e.g. interface key customer SQE -> GSM)

Develop local AP-vision

• Drive local operation strategies (digitalization, sustainability) with suppliers and internal teams

• Education: Bachelor/Master/Dr.  
• Working Experience:Semiconductor experience > 7 years Ideally, gathered in CN or western semiconductor companies
• Ability of coaching & delegation with group leads and team members (strong focus do develop the local team in CN)
• Competence Management and roll-out
• Semiconductor know-how on manufacturing processes (frontend, wafer test, OSAT, final test)
• Entrepreurial leadership for high volume manufacturing and high product cost reduction / quality mindset
• Problem solving methodologies and problem focused mindset
• Ability to escalate issues / problems timely and to appropriate levels with right information
• Communication with suppliers, customers and Bosch-internal stakeholders
• Ability to travel about 25% of time (e.g. 1 week/month) to TW, PH, MY, JP, if needed US also on short notice (e.g. low visa limitations)
