BGSV - Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam Company Limited is 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. BGSV has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at e-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.

Job Description:
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Engineering/Technical Manager to lead our Automotive Embedded Software Development team. This position will oversee 2-3 first-level managers and a team of 20-40 engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent leadership abilities, and a people-centric management style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Business Development: Leverage technical expertise to identify and drive new business opportunities, defining strategies for regional business growth.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of embedded software projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on guidance in embedded software design, development, and testing. Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and external partners, to align software development with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Enhance engineering processes to boost efficiency, quality, and team performance. Encourage best practices in software development and testing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years in embedded software development, including 5+ years in leadership roles within the embedded software industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Project Management: Experience in agile methodologies and delivering complex projects successfully.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and create a supportive work environment.
