At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery. Job Description
We have 2 vacancies for Planner/Buyer’s in our production Control department. This is a full-time role working from Monday to Friday 37 hours. The post will report to the Group Leader Procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Review and expedite material shortages with suppliers.
- Schedule and forecast material demand with suppliers.
- Process supplier returns orders.
- Process concessions for logistics issues.
- Process invoices relating to logistics services.
- Maintain inventory accuracy on SAP.
- Set up & Maintain supplier logistics agreements.
- Maintain supplier packaging instructions.
- Participate in team and supplier meetings.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in similar / related field desirable
- Proven experience in a Supply Chain Management and Procurement role
- Experience of supplier management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- SAP experience desirable.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook experience would be advantageous).
