Job Description
- Ensures the QA team has direction for daily activities, while conducting start up QA meetings, maintaining QA boards (KPIs, Safety, and Quality) updates, reviewing safety, quality topics, and quality alerts with associates.
- Assign and prioritized daily work to QA auditors in the most effective order to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieve. This includes being the first point of contact for QA auditors and assigning production lines to be audited daily.
- Attending all daily operations meetings that are related to quality. Meetings can be in person or virtually. Participate in Problem Solving activities and suggest continuous improvement processes.
- In charge of communicating and training all personnel on any new process or process changes and will provide coaching to continuously improve the functionality of the inspection process.
- Responsible for daily audits and verifying that audits are completed, reported, entered, and submitted by all QA auditors in all systems.
- Creates new workplace instructions (WPIs) and or updating old ones as needed. May be required to review and approve of new QA Processes, changes of WPIs, and postponement products in DSP (Kits, QP, FP, HP, Merchandizers, and others).
- Verifies that all QA processes and WPI’s are followed and not deviated from. Conducts process confirmation audits and any other audits assigned or needed to ensure the processes are followed properly. Monitors QA audits, cleaning standards, 6s responsibility sheets. Perform periodic checks on the floor on an ongoing basis to identify deficiencies for quick resolution.
- Helps with the creation of parts in WMS system from beginning of process to end by verifying and assuring that master data is entered right and it is accurate against the physical product and related master data info needed in SAP.
- Will be an active problem solver for both systems and process related issues. And have the ability to trouble shoot any inventory problems and expediting communications in the quickest manner available to get product moved to the correct location.
- Communicates with Customer Service, Receiving, Quality, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments of DSP to effectively expedite priorities. Help and assist the postponement team as needed with daily tasks and responsibility.
- Support operations as needed by providing guidance and explanation of any quality requirements that are to be met.
- May be required to do other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- BPS (Bosch Production System) knowledge and experience preferred
- Excel, Word, Outlook and warehouse managament (WMS) familiarity
- Knowledgeable of quality processes, product requirements, as well as quality hold reasons, typical product damages, and customer requirements for products.
- Previous experience as team lead with great communication skills

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $72,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
