Job Description
As part of the Controlling Team of the Lincolnshire production Plant, you will contribute via your high level of motivation to create the necessary transparency, as a business partner to the Plant Controller and to various departments.
You will introduce & maintain Controlling & Reporting processes in the 3 Lincolnshire production plants.
The focus activities during your assignment will be the following:
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools for all departments
- Reviewing profitability of both new and existing business, providing analysis to the business.
- Contribute to key decision making
- Work closely with the manufacturing department to produce and analyze work efficiency, offering support and ideas for improvements
- Support a continuous improvement culture, looking at ways to improve current processes focusing on producing value adding reports that drive improvement actions
- Act as a business partner – offering general financial support to commercial decision makers
- Assist in preparation of HydraForce Inc annual budget and financial reports to aid in the evaluation if budgets are being followed.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data
- Guide the cost analysis of capital spending by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
The position is based in Lincolnshire IL. The position will provide you with the excitement & wide areas of experience of the most important PMI DC has undertaken.
Qualifications
- Education: The position requires a university degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Economics or similar studies.
- Personality and way of working: You have a high level of cooperation as well as communication skills in interaction with colleagues. You are highly motivated to learn and contribute in a fast changing environment. High interest in manufacturing processes is required.
- Experience and Knowledge: Your professional competences includes at least a first experience such as an intership in Finance or managerial accounting in an industrial company
- Languages: You are fluent in written and spoken English. German or Italian languages is a plus.
Additional Information
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,000- $77,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
