Job Description
At the Bosch Kentwood, MI facility, you’ll join a team specializing in the precision manufacturing and re-manufacturing of diesel fuel systems, primarily supporting the rail industry. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring critical components meet the demands of Bosch’s global supply chain.
As a Production Operator, you’ll help ensure optimal performance across various production lines, making a direct impact on the continued success of the facility and the products it produces.
Work Schedule:
- Work shifts are 8 hours per day, including a 15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch.
- Voluntary overtime is available for up to 4 additional hours per day.
- Current openings are for 2nd shift and 3rd shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor various production machines for manufacturing and re-manufacturing diesel fuel components.
- Perform final assembly, part sorting, tear-down, washing, and other tasks according to process control documentation.
- Record daily production data and complete on-line Statistical Process Control charting to monitor process variation.
- Conduct basic maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure equipment functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Support production goals by completing additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math, reading and computer skills
- Available to work 2nd and 3rd shift hours
- Available to work overtime as needed (including Saturdays)
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Quality Focus: Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English to ensure seamless collaboration and comprehension of instructions.
- Physical Requirements: Lift up to 35 lbs., up to 20 times/hour.

Hourly Compensation: The U.S. base hourly wage for this full-time position is $23.15 with an additional shift premium based on the assigned shift.
