This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center. It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.
Manufacturing Plant: The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.
R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.
Job Description
- To lead supplier small-scale projects e.g., resourcing, follow up tool etc.
- To work with plant related departments for each project activities., sample trial, validation test etc.
- Taking role of team administrative officer,
- using SAP to issue Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchasing Order (PO) etc.
- using for LEEPA tool for creating test request
- using PILUM tool for project, RFQC creation.
- Assist in market survey and bench marking exercise to explore new suppliers and technologies within plastic injection field.
- Perform other duties as assigned among the bullet points outlining a given role.
Qualifications
- Education: University studies in engineering; mechanical, industrial, electrical, or a comparable course of study.
- Personality and Working Practice: you are good at maintaining an overview even in complex projects and coordinating your own topics; you can also defend your professional opinion in discussions.
- Enthusiasm: you enjoy solving challenging tasks and enjoy international cooperation.
- Languages: very good written and spoken English, German is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical, presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations, requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Computer skill e.g., SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word.
- Please state your availability period for the internship (preferably those who can commit 4-12 months).
