Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Sales Controlling team for a highly visible position within our Electrified Motion (EM) division. The ideal candidate is a proactive and independent critical business thinker, highly analytical, process improvement oriented, and demonstrates the drive, people skills and business partner ability to deliver results within a very dynamic business. Will play a crucial role in supporting the leadership team in optimizing sales strategies and performance for the division in North America. This role involves leveraging advanced financial systems and IT tools for gathering and interpreting sales data, developing financial models, and generating insights that will drive informed decision-making and improve our business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: generate, analyze, report and present regional revenue figures, ensuring alignment with business strategy, accuracy and timeliness for process such as MBR, CF and BP. Steering of sales targets, measures and identification of chances and risks, ensuring they are properly communicated and integrated in EM reporting.
  • Business Consultant: monitor and communicate development of key sales metrics such as revenue, volume, PCR and BIG5 compensation, special sales, claims/repricing activities, DSO and accounts receivables. Provide insights on sales performance, market trends, and key performance indicators to the leadership, driving informed decision-making.
  • Price planning: partnering with sales teams to drive accurate price analysis, planning and tracking for sales to third parties. Responsible for accurate calculation, tracking and system maintenance of Transfer Prices for internal sales.
  • Volume planning: collaborate with logistics, sales and manufacturing plant teams to develop accurate and timely product volume planning and tracking, content driven and based on market trends and business strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: strong interface with sales, controlling and business units across different locations to ensure alignment on sales related development and goals, reporting requirements, and performance metrics.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed to support senior management and sales leadership in decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: the position will have a high focus on Continuous Improvement Process, mainly focused on Digitalization and Automation developments. Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to streamline and improve reporting and sales controlling processes, enhancing efficiency and data quality. Ensure that sales reporting tools, dashboards, and databases are accurate, optimized for performance and meet business needs.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 3 years of work experience in sales controlling, controlling, accounting or comparable function.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
    • Solid knowledge of BI systems.
    • Proficiency in managing and interpreting large datasets to support financial analysis and forecasting.
    • Teamwork player with positive mindset.
    • Independent, analytical and structured manner of working.
    • Proactive way of working with a high focus on results.

    Desired:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting and/or finance.
    • At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting within Automotive Manufacturing industries.
    • Familiarity with IBM planning analytics and Oracle Essbase.
    • Familiarity with how ERP systems like SAP manage and integrate financial data across various business processes.
