• Team management including capacity management, associate development.
• Overall KPI and target tracking and reporting, e.g. competition share, contract  coverage.
• Escalation management within the responsible area
• Implementation of global- and categorical- sourcing strategies and supplier management.
• Implementation of global- and regional- management strategies and KPIs.
• Develop the regional material field strategy to support global strategy.
• Internal customer management, particularly early involvement.
• Ensure the team to follow purchasing processes, signature rules, compliance requirements.
• Contract management for the responsible area.
• Supplier Relationship Management for the responsible area (including KPIs, audits).

• Experience with indirect purchasing, cost analysis, supplier development, and supply chain optimization.
• Proficient in purchasing IT tools and SAP.
• Skilled in project management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities (internal and external).
• Familiarity with contract law, compliance, and advanced procurement tools.
• Market research expertise, with a preference for a manufacturing/engineering background.
• Fluent in English (negotiation level); additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and assertiveness skills.
• Intercultural competence and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
• Resilient under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
