Job Description

The HR team is a dynamic service first team responsible for all human resource matters across the division. Recruiting support, candidate experience and candidate and stakeholder communication are key areas of focus for this role. In addition, this position will support our HR  Business Partners across the US in both day to day tactical activities, as well as longer terms projects or programs.

  • Work in a matrix environment, demonstrating reliability and accuracy, throughout our stakeholder value chain which includes;  the PT HR Team, Robert Bosch North America (HR Service, Centers of Excellence, etc.) and our HR team members in Germany by being responsive, and consistently delivering on committed timelines and action items.  Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate processes in time administration, leave management, data administration, reporting, file management, and payroll. Seek future-looking solutions within process to drive automation through applications and technology. Support HR leadership in administrative responsibilities, including travel and expense management.
  • Intern Program – in partnership with the responsible HRBP, manage the intern opportunities through to hire.  This involves positing jobs, linking to College(s) platform, managing career fair with internal stakeholders, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers as well as the on-boarding and off-boarding of interns while regularly maintaining communications with all parties. 
  • Support recruitment and selection of new associates, effectively onboard and ensure high engagement and support, and guide associates to resolution in general HR topics.
  • Develop and coordinate project-based initiatives to improve HR effectiveness in the location and at country-level. Topics may include orientation and onboarding, employee engagement, community-based employer branding activities, health and wellness initiatives, and process improvement.
  • Additional administrative responsibilities will include maintaining legal compliance postings, coordinating university partnerships and recruiting activities, and invoice/office administration as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field from an accredited institution, or Associate’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution plus 2+ years work and/or academic experience in an office or similar environment (preferred), or High School graduate from an accredited program plus 8+ years work experience in an office or similar environment.
  • Function as a reliable and trusted HR team member by consistently and proactively delivering on tasks and projects; on-time, without errors, and without the need for stakeholder or customer follow up.
  • Strong time management and planning skills; ability to prioritize and execute the responsibilities of the role in a fast-moving, ever changing business environment.
  • Proficient in generating reports and using Excel to organize data into formats for analysis or information sharing.
  • Prior experience delivering strong HR support to a global, matrix organization.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for items that may require research or multiple steps.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks against time constraints.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, active participation in team discussions & workshops, accountable for closed loop communication. 
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $72,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
