Our located in Amata City, Rayong Province (40 min from Pattaya, 90 mins from Bangkok), is a growing plant with about 1,000 employees. Currently products for the divisions Chassis Control, Powertrain Solutions, Diesel Systems and Electrical Drives are produced there. Also pass-through business is handled for several divisions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing Project Management for Sensor business based in the Robert Bosch Project Purchasing team Suzhou.
  • Request for Qualified Contractors sourcing trigger and coordinate supplier awarding, sample ordering and delivery tracking according to project demand.
  • Independent coordination and implementation of purchasing Projects within a project Team.
  • Conduct and lead meetings with the Project Team and supplier to clarify technical (and commercial ) requirements and milestones including achievement of project goals(cost , quality , deadlines, budget and capacity).
  • Member of simultaneous engineering team and coordinates Sales Evaluation work at suppler.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change processes relevant with external supplier and conduct Bosch Part and sub-components release according to project timing requirement.
  • Analysis and lead Cost saving activity for series part and support external MAT cost estimation at project requisition phase.
  • Preventive Quality in Bosch Business Sector Mobility purchasing organization in one hand: responsible for planning, execution & release.
  • Expert for quality methods & tools, works across different material fields, e.g. injection molding, stamping, bulk cable, cable assembly, surface treatment.
  • Active and continuous a team member, works closely with project manager, engineering and manufacturing.
  • Represents and reports preventive quality topics up to board level (BU).
  • Defines preventive quality elements for each component and supplier based on the understood cause and effect relationships.
  • Confirms manufacturing capability of supplier for sourcing meeting.
  • Executes process release at supplier.(incl. content review of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis | and control plan) and approves Purchase Price Analysis/Production Part Approval Process.
  • Responsible for final release of purchased components.
  • Defines and follow-up Safe Launch activities (EPC and Run@Rate).
  • Ensures lessons learned across projects and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' working experience from automotive industry.
  • Completed degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Several years of professional experience in project purchasing, supplier quality, manufacturing, Engineering or Quality management.
  • Knowledge : plastic, rubber & Stamping production processes Good
  • Project management skills; like planning, coordinating, prioritizing and communicating complex tasks within the project team and taking active initiative to solve difficulties Flexible in ability to adapt to different project requirements and environments.
  • Technical understanding in reading blueprints and discussing technical terms and specifications with suppliers.
  • Familiar with automotive quality methods and tools
  • Able to professional use MS Excel, as well as experienced in working within a SAP ERP System
  • Knowledge of break products and/or purchasing processes is a plus
  • Analytical thinking as well as independent and systematic approach
  • Collaborative skills, flexibility, and assertiveness
  • Willingness to work in an international team and to travel Proactive and able to work independently. But also as a part of team.
  • Advanced English skills both written and spoken.
