Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Implementation Architect, who will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet our business requirements. The ServiceNow Implementation Architect will play a critical role in driving the success of our ServiceNow platform by providing strategic and technical guidance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Architecture:
  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  2. Develop high-level design documentation and detailed architecture blueprints for ServiceNow implementations.
  3. Ensure that the architecture aligns with the enterprise architecture framework and standards.
  1. Implementation and Development:
    1.   Lead the implementation of various ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to:
      1.     IT Service Management (ITSM)
      2.     IT Operations Management (ITOM)
      3.     Customer Service Management (CSM)
      4.     Custom applications
    2. Oversee the configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations with other systems.
    3. Develop and maintain high level technical documentation, including solution design guidelines, configuration guides
    4. Discuss and validate API implementation concepts
  1. Technical Leadership and Support:
    1. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the ServiceNow development team.
    2. Conduct concept reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
    3. Bring the big picture auf the system with its attached interface partners into analyzing problems.
  1. Project Management:
    1. Support Project leads in project planning, estimation, and management activities.
    2. Coordination of smaller activities on demand
    3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and third-party consultants.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
    1. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry trends.
    2. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using the ServiceNow platform.
    3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and usability of the ServiceNow platform.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. Minimum of 14 years in overall experience and 8-10 years in ServiceNow implementation and architecture.
    3. Proven experience in leading ServiceNow implementation projects from inception to completion.
    4. Experience in using  at least one architecture[SA(C1]  framework
    5. Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
    6. Experience in managing Compliance Topics

 

  1. Technical Skills:
    1. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, design, and best practices.
    2. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript).
    3. Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
    4. Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred):

  1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  2. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or other relevant areas
  3. ITIL Foundation Certification
  4. Open Group Master Architect

Qualifications
