Job Description
- Take responsibility as HW engineer from requirements analysis, concept creation, design, and test HW electronic parts, mainly displays, remote controls and sensors.
- Take responsible as HW engineer for project industrialization, series maintenance and cost saving measures.
- Work in multidisciplinary international teams, organize to build-up and share HW engineering expertise.
Main tasks relevant
HW Design
- You are responsible for translating product requirements into HW circuit designs and their testing.
- You are coordination of topics with the production plant and supplier, creation documents for mass production.
- You are member of the HW design team and cooperation with multidisciplinary international teams.
Industrialization phase (pre-SOP)
- You are onsite responsible for production build support and analyze and evaluate the test data.
- You will identify and solve issues during ramp-up production.
- You will share your expertise to the team and alignment of the designs, test and specifications with other eBike locations.
Mass production and maintenance
- You are member of the project team with the focus on product maintenance.
- You will support EMS supplier HW technical questions. For example, EQ/TQ, alternative component, evaluate test data etc.
- You will identify and solve issues during series production.
Qualifications
Education
- Background in science or engineering (electronics, mechatronics, computer engineering), Bachelor or Master.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in electronics industries and/or electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in work in international and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in EMC-compliant design.
Capability, skills
- Good knowledge in failure analysis and problem solving.
- Good knowledge in assembly and interconnect technologies (e. g. PCB, soldering, etc.).
- Good knowledge in schematics and layout tools as Altium or Zuken is preferred.
- Good knowledge in electronic outdoor consumer products is preferred.
- Good knowledge in high-speed signal, impedance matching, noise cancellation is preferred.
- Good knowledge about Bluetooth, embedded system, CAN communication, DCDC power, LDO, wireless charging, USB-C and/or PD.
- Good knowledge about lithium battery and related certification
- Good knowledge in FMEA and DFM process
- Good knowledge on EMC-compliant standards, testing and debugging.
- Good communication skills in fluent English.
- Understanding in automotive development process and standard.
- Willingness to travel domestic and overseas to suppliers and partners is expected.
