Job Description

Overview:
The Boiler/Heat Pump Commissioning/Service Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial boiler systems. This includes overseeing the start-up process, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems are operating at peak efficiency and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Mandatory

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering

Working experienced commissioning of boiler, hot water generator, Heat Pump energy efficiency Projects

Preferred

Experience in boiler/Heat Pump commissioning, testing, and start-up, ideally in industrial or power generation settings. Additional Microsoft project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint etc.

Excellent problem-solving abilities & customer managing ability to work independently and within a team.

Deliverable Description

Supervise and execute the commissioning of boilers, ensuring they are installed and operating according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
Perform testing, tuning, and adjustment of boiler systems to achieve optimal performance. Conduct pre-start-up safety checks and operational assessments

Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and control issues during the commissioning phase. Work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve any commissioning-related challenges. Identify and rectify faults, making necessary adjustments to equipment settings or configurations

Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation, including test results, system configurations, and any deviations from standard operating procedures.
Maintain comprehensive records of all work performed and issues encountered during commissioning.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., mechanical, electrical, control) and external contractors to ensure a smooth commissioning process.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing progress updates and addressing concerns promptly.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Ability to work in demanding environments, including industrial plants and construction sites.

Train clients and operators on the proper use and maintenance of the boilers.
Provide technical support and guidance after commissioning, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
