The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and now a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors.
PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics’ fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.
Job Description
- Document preparation & control: Creating, editing, organizing, storing & retrieving documents, and maintaining the records.
- Assist with daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Support in tracking and managing the facility's budget, including monitoring expenses, preparing budget reports, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Help track and analyze energy consumption across the facility, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Assist in creating, updating, and organizing facility management policies and procedures. Ensure that all documents are accessible and up to date.
- Participate in workplace safety inspections, documenting findings, and helping to implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Help maintain records of lease agreements for rented spaces, ensuring that all terms are adhered to, and renewals are tracked.
- Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications related to facility updates, maintenance schedules, and safety reminders.
- Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain Power Point presentations.
- Monitor office supplies inventory including purchase requisitions, usage analysis, and reporting, liaising with suppliers to expedite delivery.
- Attending company functions and in-house networking events.
- Event handling or planning: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events.
- Fulfilling tasks assigned by a supervisor.
- Handling ad-hoc tasks and general administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- University under-graduate currently pursuing full time Degree programme in approved Universities or Institutions
- Degree in Business Studies, International Business, Business Administration or another related field
- Ability to engage & communicate well with all levels of people
- Multiple presentation skills
- Ability to Multi-Task
- Competent in MS Windows like Excel, Words, Power point
- Internship start in September 2024 for 6 months duration period
- Hardworking and possess good working attitude
- Must be dedicated and committed to the task given
