The TC design engineer works within an engineering group that derive requirements for current and future powertrain components and subsystems. Also, the design engineer in Fluid-Mechanics supports the different engineering groups in detailed analysis of the component behavior under realistic vehicle scenarios, while manage and follow up activities for development of new projects and platforms, in order to accomplish with internal and external customer requirements according to their specifications.

- Responsible for the design, hydraulic simulation and analysis of hydraulic-solenoids and their components.
- Development of construction and 1D-simulation work packages
- Calculation of tolerances, efforts, mechanical and hydraulic parameters
- Responsible for performing 1D hydraulic analysis for validation and improvement of product designs, using state-of-the-art computer simulation systems, processes, methods and standards.
- Understand the specific requirements of products and simulations.
- Carry out designs and simulations of electro-hydraulic solenoids according to specifications, costs and timeline.
- Optimize and confirm design feasibility using hydraulic simulation methods and tools.
- Creation and maintenance of BoM lists for development products
- Evaluate specifications to accomplish with customers requirements.
- Stay updated on news tools and technologies for construction processes.
- Creation of documentation and reports, as well as presentation to internal and external customers of the results of the designs and simulations in a professional manner, according to quality standards.

Requisitos

- Education
   Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer or similar.
   Master degree or specialization in a technical field such as Fluid Mechanics is desired

- Experience
   2 - 5 years in the automotive industry.
   2+ years developing and designing 3D models.
   2+ years developing simulation models.
   Modeling of Hydraulic circuits is desired
   Use of CAD and CAE / CFD tools is also desired
   Familiar with testing and validation of products.

- Languages
   English Advanced STRICTLY required.
   German is a plus.

- Design and Hydraulics
   GD&T knowledge is strictly required
   2+ years of experience with tolerance calculations
   2+ years of experience working with concepts of Hydraulics and Fluids Mechanics
   Mechanic of materials knowledge is required
   Capable to read, understand and propose improvements in drawings and hydraulic diagrams
   Experience working with solenoids is a plus

- Software
   2+ years using Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter
   Use of AMESim is a plus
   Basics in Structural Mechanics Modeling (FEA).
   Database management (Excel, Access, etc.)
   Programming Languages and simulation software is a plus (Phyton, VBA, Excel, etc).
