Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive security measures for embedded devices, overseeing software signing, device configuration and locking, and secure credential management.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain scripts for end-of-line processes, ensuring automated generation and integration of company-issued certificates into device software.
  • Spearhead the creation and execution of end-of-line testing scripts to verify that all devices are produced correctly and function as intended, with a rigorous focus on their security aspects.
  • Serve as the security expert in collaborations with other development teams, guiding the integration of best practice security measures into the broader project workflow and ensuring their effectiveness throughout the device lifecycle.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused specifically on security in embedded systems.
  • Expert proficiency in software development, particularly in C/C++, Python, and embedded systems.
  • Advanced understanding of end-of-line processes such as target flashing, testing, and configuring.
  • Deep expertise in security protocols, cryptographic algorithms, and secure software implementation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of low-level build systems such as make, cmake, buildtools, and conan2.
  • Extensive experience with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Git for version control.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Must be fluent in English and capable of communicating complex security concepts clearly.
