The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms, electronic displays, robotic lawn mower & E-bike components. Job Description

Key areas of responsibility are:

  • Clarify and analyze requirements and issues.
  • Apply testing techniques to verify the requirements.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements and tests.
  • Execute test cases, document results, and report problems.
  • Define the test plan and test matrix.
  • Create and maintain a test schedule.
  • Define and coordinate the test activities, including assignment of responsibilities.
  • Select test platforms/test centers.
  • Generate test summary reports.
  • Track and report status.
  • Escalate test resource conflicts.
  • Serve as the main contact for the test topic for the whole project.
  • Make decisions to solve urgent issues, balancing resources and prioritizing the project.
  • Support and engage test team members.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • University education in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics-Telecommunication, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5 years of experience in Software Testing.
  • Good knowledge of C# and Python programming languages.
  • Good knowledge of UI testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium).
  • Good English skills, with the ability to communicate with foreign colleagues and various levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Good testing knowledge and testing techniques; ISTQB certification preferred
  • (Foundation/Advanced level).
  • Experience with emulators, simulators, debugging, and test equipment.

Additional Information
