PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Job Description
Job Overview:
Due to decoupling strategy, more and more suppliers expand the production sites to Malaysia.
There is necessary to have local purchasing team located in Malaysia to support strategy and support in supplier
development as well as joining supplier enabling activities.
Job Description:
- Project and commercial responsibility for Foundry purchasing within ME/PUR1-SO.
- Responsible for PCN (part change notification): evaluate and track of RPP potential and participate regular meetings
- Responsible for PTN (part termination notification): analyze and check product portfolio for ASIC and MOSFET
- Cost claim management in PgP5 for Foundry suppliers
- 1st Level support in Malaysia for Foundry suppliers’ topics in Muar/Singapore/Kulim/Malacca + IND/Bataam: e.g. Transportation and incoterms
- Interface of Business unit and other stakeholders within ME-SO. E.g., MFT, PCB, PPX, QMM, PRM, CTG
- Corporate with local resident from MFX and local SO team at Malaysia
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in related field in a semiconductor manufacturing environment and practical experience in Project Management & Commercial Purchasing
- Possess a Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in commercial, engineering, supply chain or a semiconductor related field
- Proven experience in commercial, engineering or supply chain background & experience in semiconductor or electronic component
- Diversity to work with global team, international background is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German or/and Mandarin skills are a plus
- Possess high team spirit and ability to moderate meetings/workshops with all levels
- Knowhow of digitalization is welcomed e.g., Power BI, Dashboard
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset preferred
- Ability to think strategically of category and supplier management with problem solving orientation
- Structured and independent working style with minimal supervision
