Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Development of new technical concepts and solutions for heat pump refrigeration circuits;
  • Specification, calculation, design and testing of heat pump components and systems, including:
    • Create, review and understand technical specification for the components;
    • Analyze customer, product, and safety requirements to derive technical concepts;
    • Testing refrigeration circuits and components considering envelope boundaries, with focus on quality and cost improvement;
  • Design, document and support implementation of functional test procedures for testing and series production;
  • Issue product technical documentation;
  • Participate in product design reviews and FMEA;
  • Propose and drive solutions in accordance with function, cost, quality and users’ requirements.
     

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Education: Master or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineer, Physics Engineering, or similar;
  • Experience:
    • > 3 years of experience;
    • Background in refrigeration application is advantageous;
  • Know-how:
    • Knowledge in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and refrigeration;
    • Knowledge in specification, calculation, design and testing of refrigeration and hydraulic components and systems;
    • Familiarity with European standards applicable to refrigerating systems and heat pumps is a benefit;
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project);
    • Proficiency with MATLAB is a plus;
    • Strong affinity with laboratory measurement and control engineering;
  • Languages: Good level of English language written and spoken;
  • Working Style and Methods:
    • Creative with analytical sharpness;
    • Structured approach with perseverance and result orientation;
    • Strong communication skills;
  • Personality:
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on results;
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
