Job Description

The Mobility Electronics (ME) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for steering and braking control units) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Simulation Engineer for Steering and Braking applications in mechanical development:

► Creating mechanical simulation models in ANSYS (vibration)

complex cause effect relationships to be understood and communicate to SE team

► Creating simulation reports and compare result with the measurement 

► Creating technical presentations

► Conduct the research and development of AI and machine learning (ML)

► Clarification of the exact task assignment and filling out the contracting_customer feedback form, determination of requirements and testing for completeness and consistency.

► If required, selection of a suitable reference project ( for comparative simulation)

► Creation of required models, network of the complete simulation model and execution of the simulation

► Assessment of the results and creation of the documentation

► Participation in the technical review with an expert (FAR)

► Timely provision of simulation results (set of slides or report)

► Effort report

► Provision of the qualified simulation results to the technical review (FAR)

► Obtaining expert support for the technical review (FAR) and on request

Qualifications

► MSc in Mechanical engineering or equivalent

► Model based engineering experience, especially in solid mechanics

► System understanding, analytical thinking and independent working

► Fluent English communication

► Strong presentation and communications skills

► Creativity, proactivity, being a team player, sense of responsibility

Advantages:

► Experience in simulation model development

► Experience in vibration, structural dynamics, fatigue calculation
