Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Sales and Business Development Manager.

Your tasks:

Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders (product managers, lead sales colleagues at various business units), paving the way for go-to-market strategies for innovation projects.

Identify and engage with potential external partners and customers, laying the foundation for future business opportunities.

Understand the technological and business aspects of innovation projects to effectively communicate their value and potential to both internal and external audiences.

Collaborate with project teams at various business units to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s innovation goals/strategic directions.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization to ensure the success of innovation projects.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and business development.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking events to promote our innovation projects and seek out potential business opportunities.

Qualifications

► Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the automotive industry or related fields such as aviation, maritime, space exploration, etc. A strong background in technological sales at a mid-senior level is essential.

► Demonstrated technological affinity and openness to new advancements.

► Strong strategic thinking alongside traditional sales skills.

► Experience in developing business strategies is preferred.

► Experience with innovation projects is a plus, whether through participation or mentorship/coaching, especially within a multinational environment.

► Prior experience in startups is advantageous.

► Fluent in English, with usable knowledge of German.
