Job description

  • Group manager for Power Electronic ECU mechanical development. (Inverter, DC/DC, Xin-1)
  • Leading R&D groups with 3 technical domains: mechanical design, environmental reliability and technical PjMs
  • Be responsible for all CN local power electronic development projects together with partner functions and partner GB.
  • Working with global engineering network for knowledge/competence transfer; and international capacity sharing.

Main Tasks:

  • Organizationally:
    • Leading the group to achieve business target (development project QCD)
    • Ensure the cross organizational collaboration and improve the working quality and efficiency (for both process and technical)
    • Deploy the group target to each employee’s GPD & monitoring the performance.
    • Personal capacity and workload planning, hiring, tracking and status control.
    • Employee development based on business demands and employee’s strength, regularly coach and feedback to employees.
  • Technically:
    • Develop employee’s technical competence and skills to fulfill position requirements
    • First level problem solving and management review/release
    • Develop & improve method, tools, process for project & business
    • Partner and key interface on engineering topics for internal partner GB

 

Qualifications

Professional & Personal requirements:

  • Leadership experience on projects or functional teams
  • Strong capability of project working with different interface and customers
  • >6 years technical experience in engineering or quality domain, or with good capability of technical evaluation and judgement
  • Pro-active, ability to influence within SE team regarding technical topic in projects.
