Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible for customer order management, material and production planning for Spare Part Value Stream at Asia Hub.

Job Scope

  • Responsible for customer order management, material and production planning for Spare Part Value Stream at Asia Hub.
  • Liaise with customers on orders fulfillment with effective coordination internally in addressing issue
  • Track and analyze customer demand trend and forecast accuracy for inventory control
  • Prepare production schedule to meet customers’ demands and achieving the targeted service level
  • Responsible for material planning to ensure the steady flow of materials necessary to support the manufacturing lines.
  • Schedule and follow up delivery and release scheduling agreement to supplier.
  • Manage backlog & unfulfilled orders: Close follow up with planners to drive backlog reduction & timely update of recovery status to BU/LOG & PT-ASA.
  • Handle manual and ad hoc sales orders
  • Set priorities with the logistic department on the movement of material for timely shipment.
  • Arrange and attend the regular meeting with customer to review fulfillment and delivery status
  • Work closely with other function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
  • Support and prepare management reporting as and when necessary.
  • Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline with minimum 5 years related working experience.
  • Experience in material planning and/or production planning and/or purchasing is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills and problem solving is essential.
  • Meticulous, result oriented, motivated and accountable.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a must. SAP knowledge is an added advantage
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functional business partners is essential.
