As the Technical Lead for Bosch Locations (outside Global or Regional Data Centers), you will ensure standardization and timely installation of IT infrastructure for the specified sites in compliance to the standards set by the Infrastructure Product Owners.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Rollout Activities
  • End to end responsibility for the roll out of Infrastructure on site
  • Coordination of Infrastructure related rollout activities on site by applying standard LIS processes and templates.
  • Coordination of changes to Infrastructure Environment in a Site (e.g. Technology upgrades, Migrations, movements)
  • Guidance and advising local teams in hands-on activities and vendor, internal and external partners coordination.
  • Ensure Infrastructure is handed over to PSMs for installation as per defined standards/templates.
  • Support of Site Lead in increasing awareness and mitigation actions for Infrastructure related Risks
  • Support of Site Lead in management of LIS and Infrastructure related Site Activities
• Data Management
  • Update (where needed) relevant Device-data in all related tools  (e.g. CMDB)
  • Support in maintaining Site and Room data in all related tools  (e.g. CMDB, FNT)
• Other Tasks
  • Support Projects with integrations, moves, new locations, closures, and carve-outs
  • Supports LIS Product Owner in Product Development.

• Skill/Competency Cluster: Infrastructure Knowledge
  • Understanding of Infrastructure Services and Products and their connection to each other
  • Advanced Experience in physical configuration of IT Equipment and Network/Cabling Concepts
  • Understanding of physical setup of IT Infrastructure and roll outs
  • Knowledge in data cabling technology basic Understanding of Data Centers and Datacenter Infrastructure.

• Skill/Competency Cluster: Communication, Consulting & Methodology
  • Project Management Skills
  • Advanced Communication and Consulting Skills in intercultural environments.
  • Target oriented and able to work independently.
  • Experience in the coordination of external service provider (ESPs)
  • Know-how in ITIL-Processes Incident- Problem- Change- and Asset Management (preferred in the IT Infrastructure environment)
  • Work and contribute effectively in an international team

• Graduate in Computer Science or related engineering degree

• Fluent in English both in writing and speaking
