Job Description

We make machines speak! We are Digital Twin – a corporate start-up using a modular digital transformation solution to create a cyber physical system of large industrial machineries. Solution Eco-system
As a key member of the Solution Eco-system team in Digital Twin - Integrated Asset Performance Management, you will be responsible for the following tasks and topics:

  • You perform CFD/FEM simulations and synthesize resulting data for machine learning algorithms. Design of experiments and validation and verification of simulation scenarios using CFD, FEA, MBD and Multiphysics, etc.
  • You generate health and failure data for turbomachinery components and hybrid models using simulations. Generate FMUs and Reduced Order Models to accelerate simulations and incorporate real-time data for predictive analysis
  • You are responsible for asset template creation
  • You proposal writing, documentation and implementation of optimization proposals and cutting-edge computational methods
  • You create virtual sensors and immersive visualization using AR/VR technology to enhance the digital twin experience
  • You are supporting the Customer Solutioning Group by providing innovative solutions and applying cutting-edge simulation techniques to address complex challenges
  • You collaborate with academic institutions and research organizations to explore novel and innovative technologies
  • You document all simulation results and prepare comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Education: You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience and Know-How: You have proficient knowledge and experience in CFD, FEM and system-level simulation. You have working knowledge of at least one numerical simulation software package, such as ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, Amesim and programming skills.You have a strong background in vibrational data analysis and knowledge of turbomachines. 
  • Working practice: You work independently, structured and conscientiously.
  • Enthusiasm: You have a strong passion for learning and innovation.
  • Personality: You have a high sense of responsibility and good communication skills. You are reliable and a team player.
  • Language: You are business fluent in English, other languages are welcome.

Additional Information

The contractual work location is Ludwigsburg.
