We are looking for a proactive engineer to fill the role of Validation Test Engineer for our Engineering Cross Function department.

In your role you will:

• Set-up, preparation and execution of environmental, media (chemical) and functional test programs to check the product reliability; analysis of potential impacts on products during validation;
• Conception, set-up, maintenance and modification of functional test equipment;
• Evaluation and validation of new products regarding field application, electrical circuits, layout and media (chemical);
• Communication and agreement of measures with other Bosch laboratories and external suppliers to improve the product reliability;
• Release test cost estimation; tracking and compliance to deadlines and budget during release testing;
• Support quality assurance processes;

Nice to have:

• Experience in automotive environmental testing (chemical, corrosion);
• Experience in electrical testing;

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical, Physics or Mechanical Engineering;
• Min. 2 years of experience in an industrial laboratory;
• Ability to handle tasks independently and flexibly;
• Analytical and creative way of thinking;
• Target, process and quality orientation;
• Fluent in English;
• Willingness to work temporarily abroad (ex. Business Trips);
