As Senior Manager Purchasing Engineering and Purchasing Project Management you will be responsible to build-up, to train and to shape our high performance purchasing team in Taipei.

As a target manager you will be responsible for our technical ODM* purchasing and purchasing project management team. You will have the responsibility of coordinating all purchasing activities during product development process to ensure cost, quality and delivery targets are met including awarding of business with your organization. You will apply stakeholder and risk management to mitigate supply and project risk and to maximize benefit for the organization.

Further taking disciplinary responsibility for our strategic purchasing and purchasing quality functions you will be in charge of overall accountability for our purchasing office in Taipei.

You will drive our future growth roadmap in a challenging and volatile environment offering a high degree of visibility in the IP security camera business growing at high pace.

Your contribution to something big:
• Cooperate actively with Research & Development, Product development, related purchasing functions and the ODM supply base in a high-tech environment
• Drive strategic ODM target supply base assessment, release and integration
• Steer product market entries and cost saving projects for existing products by professional project management
• Safeguard quality, cost and delivery targets applying professional risk management
• Act on strategic, tactical and operational level

What distinguishes you
• Preferably Master degree or higher in Business Administration, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
• At least 5 years on the job experience in Strategic Purchasing or Purchasing Project Management preferably in a high-tech electronics B2C environment
• At least 3 years on the job leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of RB purchasing contracts including negotiations on IP liability, software licensing and OSS agreements
• Working applied knowledge of MS Office applications, SAP MM and RB SRM, PILUM modules
• Strong strategic mindset and entrepreneurial business approach
• Educated and well-trained business management and leadership skills
• Strong intercultural business acumen and empathic skills
• Ability to motivate others and to enhance team spirit
• Fluent in English is a Must
