Job Summary:

• Development and improvement of forming technology for new RBCD products
• Forming and punching tooling (die) design and reconditioning
• Management of tooling shop, including preparing for the tooling shop setup
• Close cooperation with MFE and Engineering for the new product design optimization
• High engagement in the CoC activities (take away and offer)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Process parameters definition and trial out for forming and punching tooling
• Preparation and maintenance of process data sheets for forming process
• Technical specification definition, acceptance and ramp up support of new/ retrofit MAE
• Release tooling reconditioning process according to product requirement
• Development and implementation of improvement activities for cycle time, cost reduction and quality improvement together with MOEx
• Leading the problem solving for responsible process/stations
• Improvement and maintenance of knowledge database for forming tooling process. Transfer knowledge to technician and internal customer/colleagues
• Knowledge exchange and improvement with leadplants

Educational:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, production/material (metal)

Language:

• Very good English skills (B2 or better) in oral communication as well as reading/writing
• German language skills helpful, but not mandatory

    Job Relevant Knowledge and Experience:

• Systematical and analytical thinking
• Metal forming process knowledge
• Familiar with Finite Element Analysis software, such as Dynaform, Abaqus, Autoform etc.
• Sound understanding of Bosch quality methods (e.g. problem solving, Shainin)
• Manufacturing technologies (machining and grinding)
• Team working skills
