Job Description

The Quality Team Leader is responsible for Customer Quality for series production and Inspection Task with respect to production requirements.

Support contact for customer quality topics to ensure implementation and monitoring of corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction and promote Preventive Action activities to reduce number of Customer Concerns and External PPM.

Ensure timely and effective responses to Internal and External TS16949 Audit findings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Proficient English level.
  • Minimum of 6 years Quality and Manufacturing experience.
  • Capable of supporting multiple projects and functions in a fast paced global environment.
  • Understanding of metrology and industry standard measurement techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality strategies for series quality issues.
  • Must be competent to read technical drawings, utilize setup, process and quality assurance documentation in order to assure the quality of parts required.
  • Detail-oriented and hands on support are required.
  • Intermediate level familiarity with statistical techniques and reports, and Problem Solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact well with personnel at all levels of the organization as well as customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently, self-starter.

Additional Information

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University; or five to 10 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Their experience should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations.

Language Skills:

  • English language skills required

Mathematical Skills:

  • Basic math skills required, SPC, Statistics

Reasoning Ability:

  • Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature. 
  • Works under minimal supervision. May assist in orienting and training lower level employees.

Computer Skills:

  • Must have Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook softwares.  Must be capable of learning other software packages (Ex: SAP, Axalant, Test Software).

Desired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • CQE, RED-X Shainin, 6-Sigma

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Individual must possess the interpersonal skills communicate with coworkers.
  • OEM Customer experience
  • Experience with MSA, APQP, Gage R&R, Capability, Linearity and Bias
