Job Description

Responsibilities for dedicated production processes:

  • Implementation of processes, issuance, optimization, and improvement within plant and IPN
  • Further development of standardized production capacities (e.g., tool design, process parameters, etc.)
  • Benchmarking within IPN regarding technical availability (e.g., best practice process changes)
  • Engineering contact person for the development of new products

Responsibilities for specification and commissioning of processes, machinery, and equipment:

  • Responsibility for specifying and commissioning MAE processes during the acquisition process
  • Support for IPN in MAE projects (upgrades, relocation, new lines, etc.)
  • Standardization within IPN and onsite process confirmation execution
  • Definition of measurement technique and criteria

Supplier of services for Value Stream:

  • Improving technical availability and quality (waste rate) influenced by processes
  • Monitoring, analysis, and reporting of test results
  • Remote and onsite support for production facilities
  • Collaboration in root cause analysis and problem-solving

Responsibilities for training and documentation specific to the process:

  • Ensures that process documentation complies with internal and external quality requirements
  • Creates and maintains knowledge documentation about production processes
  • Employee training. Internal training for TEF and MSE colleagues of all levels (e.g., maintenance workers as well as indirect TPM engineers)
  • Participates in knowledge exchange about processes within IPN
  • Development of close relationships within the global TEF network of experts

Other activities as instructed by the Employer.

Qualifications

  • VI-VII level of education (Mechanical Engineer or similar)

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.

  • Competence in understanding and implementing complex manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project Management Abilities
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset
