PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. Job Description

Job Overview

The customer and supply chain manager will act as an interface between the Bosch semiconductor Logistic Planning group and customer focused on Asian market. The incumbent will be responsible for inbound and outbound transportation, stock management and every customer request.

 

Job Description

1.       Responsible for customer planning; manage daily email communication,

customer files, and forecasts

2.       To check in-transit quantities for customer forecasts

3.       Collaborate with German supply chain planner and attend customer meetings

4.       Continuously oversee all parts shipments to Asia, including priority shipments

5.       Able to organize expedite shipments from our Asian warehouse

6.       Regularly check/monitor order situation for our Asian customers

7.       Able to handle re-qualification, scrapping, and lost material cases in a defined

process

8.       Regularly monitoring raw material supply for Asian productions

9.       To perform weekly checks for selected products

10.      Monitor German priority shipments and react urgently

11.      Other additional tasks as per superior instructions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years to 10 years working experience in the logistics industry, preferable in the semiconductor environment
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Management study
  • Possess a high level of intrinsicmotivation and joy in inventing of new solution
  • Possess strong intercultural communication & corresponding skills and able to work in team environment with initiative and willing to learn
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, Supply Chain Management, planning competence with structural, analytical way of working
  • The candidate must be assertive, able to deal with conflicts, high level of intrinsic motivation & able to lead of projects and topics
  • Efficient working candidates with an open minded and change management & flexible on overtaking responsibility
  • Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for training
