Job Description

  • During your assignment, you will collaborate with the development team to design and implement a robust API call tracing and analysis tool.
  • You will develop a system that intercepts and logs API calls made by binary executables to their linked libraries during runtime.
  • Furthermore, you will work on the integration of the tool with existing development workflows and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Last but not least, you will document the design, development process, and usage of the tool.

Qualifications

  • Studies in the field of a Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable
  • Experience with debugging and profiling tools, good knowledge in one of programming languages (Rust, C/C++, Python), good understanding of operating system principles
  • Independent, detail-oriented team player with good problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week (extension possible)
