Software Tool Qualification based on ISO26262 standard Part 8• Analyze and identify the safety relevant use cases of the tools in scope for tool qualification. Discuss and confirm the use cases with the stakeholders.• Determination of the tool features used for performing the tool use cases• Logical determination of possible errors for the features• Determination of tool/ process detection for the identified errors• Determine the TCL values for the use cases.• Performing qualification (Validation method) for all TCL2/TCL3 use cases. (test case preparation and execution)

1. Good knowledge on ISO 26262 Functional Safety standard and implementation  2. Preferable knowledge on Software Tool Qualification based on ISO26262  3. Good experience in automotive embedded software development life-cycle  4. Preferred knowledge on software tools across the V- model including simulation tools.  5. Exceptional analytical, written and presentation skills.  6. Preferable know-how in FMEA  7. Experience in working with International Teams/Inter-Cultural Exposure  8. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
