Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a Project Technical Buyer, you will join a purchasing project team in a global environment and become part of our Global Competence Center for Residential Water Heaters in Aveiro.
You will join a fast-paced environment, full of growth opportunities, where your dedication to excellence and customer-focused mindset will drive success in this high-demanding, target-oriented role.

Your contribution to something big:

  • Coordinate technical projects for the purchase of components for new products or technical changes;
  • Search for suppliers to provide technical solutions for products at the design stage, adjusted to the requirements set by the development team;
  • Plan and follow up the implementation of tools at suppliers;
  • Assures target cost achievement for buying in parts at start of production stage;
  • Assures parts release on time for product start of production;
  • Coordinate supplier workshops and Lean Plant Assessments to suppliers.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you: 

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineer or similar;
  • Experience: Previous experience in project management in a industrial or product development environment is valued;
  • Know How: Good understanding of essential mechanical production processes. Knowledge about quality and part approval processes; 
  • Personality and work style: Interest in working within an international environment. Good communication and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel (ponctually);
  • Language: Good domain of english.
