Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Within Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, you will develop (embedded) software for our vehicle diagnostics solutions for international car manufacturers and independent workshops. For that you will:

  • Contribute with your solid experience in C++ with strong emphasis on OOP principles and network programming/protocols;
  • Define product requirements, analyze gaps in currently existing solutions and design and implement solutions to close those gaps;
  • Integrate your work and test it, both on module level and on system level. This is applicable either with simulations or on real vehicles – in our own labs and at the customer;
  • Join a globally distributed team and collaborate with your team mates in Germany, Italy and the US to exchange know-how and to jointly develop solutions for our customers.

 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar;
  • Experience: Embedded software development (Linux based microprocessor systems) with focus on user-land software. Experienced in C++, network communication and linux;
  • Know-How: Good development infrastructure and tool knowledge (Jenkins, Gradle, Maven). Knowledge of product deployment and build management;
  • Work style: organized and analytical work style with a problem-solving mindset;
  • Personality: proactive, curiosity and interest in continuous development and learning, ability to work in a team environment;
  • Languages: very good knowledge of English.
