Job Description

Your contribution to something big: 

  • Development of technical concepts and solutions for heat pump water heaters and electrical water heaters
  • Specification, calculation, design and testing of components and systems, including:
    • Creation, review and understanding of technical specification for components
    • Analysis of customer, product, and safety requirements to derive technical concepts
    • Creation of test plans and its execution
    • Issue of product’s technical documentation
  • Quality improvement and optimization of existing product range
  • Cost reduction of existing appliance platforms

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Education: Master of Science - Mechanical Engineering (or similar);
     
  • Experience and Knowledge: Previous experience developing water heating systems is a benefit;

    Technical skills:
  • Knowledge in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics;
  • Knowledge in materials science;
  • Knowledge in electrical systems;
  • Knowledge in specification, calculation, design and testing of mechanical components and systems;

    Computer skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project);
  • Proficient with MATLAB;
     
  • Personality: Good communication skills;
    Results oriented and pro-active attitude;
    Problem solving mindset;
     
  • Working Style and Methods: Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions;
    Ability to work in a team environment;
     
  • Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin (mandatory);
     
  • Willingness to travel: approximately 20% per year.
