Scope of this position is to develop and design products (hammer and I&R drill bits) including all the documentation (BOM, detailed drawing, specifications…) managing the typical project constraints of cost, time and quality. Furthermore Product Engineer will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operations including drawings updated, QZ test evaluations, ANDI, process improvements, ratio projects…

Position will be located in Goleniow, Poland (GlnP)

Main tasks:

• Review and documents patents applications and patent search including application of new patents
• Confirm technical requirements (ERS, SRS) within the PIF project
• Conduct, document and update Design FMEA
• Prepare BOM and other technical documentation like 3D drawings, manufacturing drawings and other technical specifications
• Organize prototyping, testing and reporting (QG2 tests)
• Ensure release of documentation in GIS
• Confirm technical Agency Approvals (e.g. PGM)
• Contribute to manufacturing task requirements like drawing updates (e.g. for tolerances change) and ANDI/CR process
• Support QMM in evaluation of QZ test results

• Technical background (master or bachelor in engineering)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
• Capability to use 3D modeling software (e.g. CREO/ProE)
• Pragmatic to understand user needs with practical use of power tools and accessories
• Team spirit to be part of large group of contributors with proper cooperation and collaboration skills
• Technical approach on problem solving required
• Experience in the following field are a plus: metal material science, statistical date evaluation, grinding technology
• English proficiency is must
