Job Description

Responsible for the implementation of purchasing quality activities along the product value stream. PUQ acts as an interface to the supplier assuring that the supplied goods are meeting the specified quality requirements.

  • Supplier quality responsibility and accountability for supplied direct material and/or buyout
  • Handling of supplier related quality complaints by means of a sustainable problem solving
  • Plan, execute and follow-up of supplier process audits according to the yearly audit planning
  • Quality target setting for relevant suppliers in alignment to the overall plant and/or product area goals
  • Reimbursement of supplier caused quality costs
  • Coordination of supplier related concession
  • Drive CIP activities for supplier’s quality management and process capabilities to prevent the occurrence of quality incidents
  • Evaluate and qualify supplier processes as requested via TTM project or lead buyer strategy
  • Conclude preventive quality methods and agreements (PQA) with suppliers covering the agreed test criteria and its monitoring methods

Qualifications

  • Technical education
  • Knowledge in product-, manufacturing- (parameters critical to quality) and measurement-technologies
  • Knowledge of quality methods, tools and processes, e.g. FMEA, risk analysis, 8D/Problem solving, concession and determination of process capability.
  • Purchasing Quality knowledge & experience
  • Knowledge of project management and agile methods in multifunctional / cultural teams
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and track record
  • Ability to understand and work towards strategic targets
  • Strong intercultural skills and experience
  • Strong communication skills & argumentation power when dealing with different stakeholders and teams
  • Goal-oriented, analytical & structured way of working
  • Passionate to work in diverse and cross functional teams

Additional Information

  • Experience min. 2 years in a similar position in a production company
  • Professional experience in an international company
  • University degree
  • Very good level of English
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point
