Job Description

Mandatory Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in a complete cycle implementation as well as support projects.
  • Can handle developing interfaces to replicate transactional data or master data , integrations with Concur , Ariba , Open Text , CFIN , MDG or any other BTP services and integrations via CPI.
  • Basic knowledge on other middleware (Like Boomi, Web methods etc).
  • Proficient with message mapping concepts and scripting language.

Integration Solution Design:

  • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end integration solutions using SAP CPI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective and scalable integration processes.

Adapter Configuration:

  • Configure and implement various adapters in SAP CPI, such as SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, SFTP, and others.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity and data flow between SAP CPI and diverse external systems through expert adapter configurations.
  • Basic understanding on networking, infra and security.

Integration Flow Development:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain integration flows in SAP CPI, ensuring efficient data transformation, mapping, and routing.
  • Implement best practices for designing reusable and modular integration components.

Adapters Expertise:

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in working with different adapters within SAP CPI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve adapter-related issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of integration processes.

Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address integration issues.
  • Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and end-users to understand integration requirements.
  • Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for adapter configurations, integration flows, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Upgrades and Enhancements:

  • Stay informed about updates and releases in SAP CPI, especially those related to adapters.
  • Evaluate new features and recommend system upgrades or enhancements to improve integration capabilities.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training to end-users on adapter-related functionalities and best practices.
  • Offer support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to adapters and integration processes.

Additional Skills:

  • Proven experience as an SAP CPI consultant with a focus on adapter configurations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP CPI architecture, integration patterns, and components.
  • Proficiency in working with various adapters in both on-premise and cloud integration scenarios.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • SAP Certified Development Professional - SAP Cloud Platform Integration - (Optional)
