Job Description

  • We are looking for interns in the field of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) to work on our innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
  • As an intern, you will play a key role in shaping the future of PEMFC technology. Through your hands-on experience, you will gain valuable insights into the technical aspects of energy supply and the hydrogen economy.
  • Work closely with our motivated team and benefit from a regular exchange. Join us in shaping the energy transition! That includes the characterization of PEM fuel cells for mobile applications, implementation and extension of Python tools for automated evaluation of fuel cell tests, the set-up of fuel cell test rigs and execution of experiments on fuel cell test rigs and evaluation of the obtained data and presentation of the results in an interdisciplinary team. Based on the results, conclusions are drawn and new experiments are planned.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or comparable with above-average academic performance
  • Experience and Knowledge: good knowledge and practical experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. with Python)
  • Personality and Working Practice: flexible, enthusiastic and communicative team player with independent, committed and systematic way of working
  • Enthusiasm: enjoy programming and motivated to learn the basics of fuel cell characterization, willingness to work in the laboratory
  • Languages: fluent in English or German

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months
